 Silhouette window shadings are just that, not a blind or a shade, but a combination of the two. Silhouette shadings are comprised of a “S-vane” fabric vane suspended between two soft vertical sheer facings. These vanes are available in a variety of textures and colors, from the warm “Toujours" linen-textured vanes to the elegant “Bon Jour” raw silk textured vanes. Why there are eight different fabric choices in 2”, 3” and 4” vane sizes. That accompanied by the selection of colors gives you 220 material/color combinations!
Silhouette’s beauty is enhanced by it functionality. The suspended vanes tilt to any angle, giving you full control over the level of privacy and light you desire. In the tilt open position, you have a softened view as if you were looking through luxurious sheers. In the closed position, you have full privacy and can even opt for the room darkening “Bon Soir” vane. Your third option is to raise you Silhouettes into its fabric covered headrail. The Silhouette completely disappears for a totally unobstructed view. Silhouette is available in a variety of lift systems, including “PowerRise” motorization.
